We had a wonderful time on our puffin tour. We travel fairly often but we had my partner's parents along for this adventure, which was a bit harder to plan for. My partner's parents are in their early 60s and quite mobile, but we still weren't sure if a Puffin tour on a small boat would be right for them. Happily, we found the tour to be quite well constructed for all ages. The seats were stable and safe, folks who wanted less waves could sit further in the back while those who wanted a bit more of an adventure could sit in the front. The driver was good and ensured we were always safe and comfortable and sped up just a bit to make it more fun while staying within a very safe ride for all passengers. Our guide Mikel was very knowledgeable and had a good personality. The puffins were quite adorable and fun to see. I'd highly recommend this for anyone visiting Iceland of any age.

Good Puffin watching tour with biologist/ornithologist on board that can provide interesting comments. Equipment, i.e. Binoculars on board could be better. In sum, good tour for a fair price.

Pro - We got to see lots of puffins (literally hundreds), fairly close up. There were puffins nesting, puffins in the water, puffins flying in a flock. It was great. We went around Iceland to various tours (e.g. South Coast, Snæfellsnes) and did not see puffins (ok I saw ONE far away on my binoculars). So if you want to see puffins in Iceland, definitely come on this tour. - The seats on the speed boat had dampening, which smoothed out the ride. I barely felt any turbulence even when we were going fast. - Our guide was very knowledgeable. He even has a Masters in Marine Biology. I didn't catch his name but he had a British accent. - We're on a speed boat, so they did some cool speed boat maneuvers for us at the end. - They gave us overalls (and of course life vests) which were warm & waterproof. Con - It was quite pricy compared to other puffin tours Tips - Bring a pair of binoculars, they don't supply them on the tour. You can see a lot without binoculars but it's good for seeing puffins that are nesting.

Excellent trip to see the puffins. The RIB boat was very fast and comfortable. we got very good suits, gloves, goggles and binoculars. we saw many puffins, and the guide was very helpful and knowledgeable. The kids had a lot of fun during the journey and especially at the end… thankyou for great experience!
