Carolina was my guide for one of the most fantastic experiences I’ve ever had. I loved learning about Icelandic HORSES and given the opportunity to experience the special gait called the Tolt. Hraunhestar horses are lovingly cared for and all equipment is provided. I highly recommend this particular stable and the experience. Carolina’s knowledge is unmatched for a 16-year old let alone someone twice her age. She is charming, conscientious and simply lovely. Her parents should be very proud and Hraunhestar is fortunate to have such an enthusiastic employee. Thank you for such a marvelous experience!

Great place to unwind! Horse riding is very pleasant, people are very friendly and give clear instructions, so even if you are a complete rookie you will be able to ride the horse :) riding among lava fields feels like a weird western story

We had such a great experience! Our guide was my favorite part of our trip to Iceland. She was from Poland, but she knew an astronomical amount of information about Iceland. They had horses that were a perfect fit for me and my girls. We were the only people on the ride, so it ended up being private. We passed some big groups along the way, and they looked so impersonal. By the end of the ride, I felt like we had made a friend. We loved the horses, too! I highly recommend Hraunhestar!

We rode at Landmannalagur where they are locates during the summer. The view was astonishing, the horses were nice and energetic and our instructor was skilled and nice. We highly recommend taking a tour with Hraun Hestar!
