Had the mixed fish pan and it was really good, the veggies blend perfectly with the fish and the butter. We also tried the burger, salted cod and the lobster soup, everything was really good! The last two slightly too salted for someone who doesn't generally have much salt. Some dishes also come with an awesome homemade sweet rye bread.
Best fish and chips I have ever had. Inexpensive... for Iceland.
Located next to the main road, it's a great place to stay if you're tavelling in a group of 4-5. There's a big hall, 2 rooms and a well equipped kitchen. One room and hall provide great view of sea. Parking is also available on the back side of the building. There's a restaurant cum bar at the ground floor which attracts people in all weathers.
Veey welcoming staff, good service.. I had the lobster soup.. wow! Nice snd creamy, big chuncks og lobster... 2nd I had burger and fries.. good patty beef with well prepared bun.. I asked for tommato and onion to add and they did with no extra charge.. my freind had the bacon burger, loved it also and my other friend had the fish pan.. all was just excelent.. recomended!
Nice lication with a great atmosphere. Menu selection is a little thin if you are used to US restaurants. Service was good. Price 8s comparable to other locations around Iceland. Tips are not necessary in Iceland, when you factor in our taxes and tip the meals here are adequeatly priced against a similar US restaurant.
