If you made it into this Area, you might as well Stop Here. Great Little Spot for Some Heritage and a Break before you Check Out the Bird Cliffs. This is the Oldest Steel Ship in Iceland which was Beached Here. It is Pretty Rusty, and they Don't want you to Climb it, but it Can be Climbed.

Great place to relax and take a couple of shots. And also prepare for the end of the asphalt road :)

If you, like me, are into rusty boats, should definitely stop by this one. A piece of history on the beach. Rust guaranteed!

Stopped here on the way back from the bird cliffs. Cool spot with some good views of the fjord. Well worth a stop.

Beautiful ship with a gorgeous setting, there is no reason not to stop by for a stroll and some photos. This is the oldest vessel in Iceland, beached here since 1981, other than that, no further details provided, bummer. There's a picnic table and some dustbins, no toilet facility.
