Quick a number of steps up to the church but you will get a good view of Akureyri from the top. Nothing really special about this church. glass windows and a proper church organ. Did not feel very welcome as the Uncle was more interested in putting out a "close the door" sign. Does not smile at greetings.

Nice walk up the steps and beutifull inside with the stained glass. Great view from the top and looking at the history. Clock was 5 minutes fast but can't really complain about that

The external architecture is very interesting, but inside is un inspiring and minimal. I spent 3 minutes inside and it was more than enough time. I don't think the church authorities want tourists visiting and that's fine with me, understandable. Great views of the port from the forecourt though.

Really lovely church, long stair case up to it, parking lot behind, it up the hill. Beautiful stain glass, 100kr donation for prayer candles.

A small church that wouldn't warrant a trip on it's own but if you're walking around town it is worth the stop. The stairs were not as bad as some would have you believe
