While January isn’t the most popular month to visit Iceland, it is the perfect time for a winter-adventure of a lifetime.
In January, Iceland’s mountains and landscape look spectacular in their snowy-coat and some people say this is the most beautiful time to visit. While visitors should be prepared for a cold weather and short days, the average temperature is just around the same as New York City. During this time of year, we recommend checking out the Southern Coast, Golden Circle, get comfy in the Blue Lagoon and explore Reykjavik and all it has to offer.
