The ocean around Iceland has plentyful of over 10 different species of whales, with the two largest centers of whale watching tours from Reykjavik and Husavik in the north - often quoted to be the whale watching capital of Europe.

Iceland is also the home of the largest puffin population on earth, outnumbering the Icelandic human population by orders of magnitudes! You will find puffins throughout the country in cliffs, islands and various other locations.
