Best meal I've had in Budapest. Nice meal by the lake. Must have experience. The traditional goulash and stuffed chicken is especially good. The sauce is super well done. Heavy chicken gravy taste mixed with local paprika and cream, wish I can make this stuff. Recommend any day, maybe not when it's raining though.

If it looks like a tourist trap, smell's like a tourist trap and priced like a tourist trap... Well, don't get confused by a famous butcher picture on the front window... The service was below what's expected when you see the prices. I ordered their famous burger, medium, and got a well done with no spirit left in it... The kids plates were the smallest we ever saw, and they were still hungry when we left. Over all a disappointment for us all.

Nice restaurant, though a bit pricy. The food was great and the service was great as well. The view from the restaurant over the lake is pleasing.

I was there with my two girl friends and couldn’t be more disappointed. We waited for at least 20min to get a food menu. The waiter would not take our order. He would walk by and pretend we weren’t there while the table next to us, full of business man got everything right away. I don’t know if the restaurant has something against women but I felt insulted. The men in front of me got all the attention while I had to wait and wait for service. We are from California and we never experienced such a disrespect. We had to ask for everything, even bread while the men had it all. So very disappointed. Not coming back neither referring this place to anyone. Go somewhere else!
