Budapest, Komor Marcell u. 1, 1095 Hungary
Remarkable gallery. Brilliant permanent collection with a great baackstory. Well worth a look if you're in town and like modern art.
Modern arts musem open between 10 - 18. A regular ticket starts from 1600 Ft and can go as high as 8000 Ft for a season ticket which usually contains the entrance for the museum and the exhibitions. Aside from other pieces, you will find works by Warhol and other pop art creators on its three floors. There's also a library that's collecting activity focuses on Hungarian and international art after 1945 as its main subject area, with a special emphasis on the art of the Central and Eastern European regions. The place is really neat and interesting, but you probably need to be a fan of the modern arts to fully enjoy and understand the experience.
This museum is about modern, contemporary art. The place is very nice, and there's a good cafe inside, and an OK restaurant nearby.
Worth a visit especially if it's raining like it was for us. Some decent installations
Prettiest building that I saw in Budapest. Absolutely must to visit. Even exposition of museum is small
