Wonderful experience of an open-air train that goes through the woods for 7 miles! Our family had a great experience and we just rode the train 7 miles out and back without any additional excursions with our two little boys on what was a very hot day in Budapest - but a refreshing day in appropriately named “Hüvösvölgy” (chilly valley). Definitely recommend this unique experience with or without kids.

A must visit facility . A fantastically run railway by children who manage the railway so professionally. A fantastic day out.

So unique. Children ticket sellers, flag men, train guards, etc. A nice piece of history behind this and a nice train ride with views.

Love it really great place for family. I only found a difficulty to find WC. Its may be because I'm not citizen

I wasn’t expecting too, but I really enjoyed this. We went from the chair lift, to a pleasant walk to the children’s railway. And then from there, took a really interesting cog train into the city.
