Try not to ruin your day..

1- WATCH OUT FOR SCAMMERS! you might get approached by people in the street offering tours or services, just don't, It's a good idea to hire a guide but make sure it happens through registered sources. 2- DRIVING? NO! The traffic in Cairo is chaotic, I wouldn't recommend public transport or taxis either, The best idea would be to use a transportation network company service like Uber.
