Amazing view in the crystal cabin, great restaurants up there, overwhelming beauty at the Buddha & Monastery, inspiring walk on the Wisdom Path ending with breathtaking views of the horizon. Really this 25 minute cable car ride gave amazing 360 degree views of Lantau island.... I lucked out with clear weather so had great views of firstly the airport area, and then the lush landscape of the island with it's many walking paths leading upward towards the Big Buddha. It's an easy smooth 5.7 km trip with plenty of photo opportunities for Google Maps from the large cable car carriage.

A nice way to visit the Buddha, that offers stunning views. Cable cars are essentially private. If you are lucky (or unlucky, depends), you might have to go through a storm which adds a Luna Park touch to the ride. Don't worry though, everything is safe!

This cable car takes you to the most spectacular views of the island.. we rode on the crystal cabin and it was really awesome.. stunning views of valleys and grassland just below our feet in that transparent cabin.. its like as if we are flying.. fantastic one.. 👍🏼

Oh, such a lovely view. But need to be aware of weather forecast as during foggy or cloudy days you can hardly appreciate it. Also no shade or cover once you make it outside. Tickets can be bought together with tram tickets or upon arrival. Also lots of souvenirs are available iat the 1st floor stores.

We can reach easily there by train or bus. Buy a crystal cabin ticket and your view will be fantastic and breathtaking. Beautiful view of the Lantau Island and also the HongKong Airport from here. The easiest way to reach the Big Buddha. Reach early to avoid the crowd.
