Starting from the town of Naxos, we arrive at Sagri, where you will find the ancient Temple of Demeter. Following your visit, we stop at the village of Halki with its mansions, the Byzantine church of Panagia Protothroni, and a citrus distillery.
Stop at the village of Apiranthos with its marble-paved alleys and its 4 small museums: the Archaeological Museum, the Geological Museum, the Natural History Museum, and the Folklore Museum.
Passing through the villages of Koronos, Skado, and Mesi, we arrive at the northernmost village of the island, Apollonas, where you can find an unfinished Kouros statue. Time for lunch and swimming.
We return to town on the northern coastal road, where we find the Tower of Agia, the monastery of Faneromeni (17th century) and the village of Eggaras, where we visit a restored olive press.
