Dedicated to God Zeus, the king of all the gods of ancient Greece, this area of extraordinary historical importance is located at the foot of Mount Olympus, featuring lush green vegetation, abundant springs and towering trees. Wander through the unique open-air site including theaters, marble statues, defensive walls, stadiums, cemeteries, the shrine of Demeter and the sanctuary of Zeus. Visit the modern Museum that displays all the treasures of the excavations. Continue to Mt Olympus, the mountain of the 12 Gods to enjoy a 30-minute light trek through the beautiful Enipeas Gorge and its densely vegetated landscape. Admire the magical path full of wooden bridges, running waters and abundant flora and fauna. Then explore Litochoro, a picturesque village built in typical Macedonian style and the main starting point for trekkers and climbers, who wish to conquer Mytikas summit, the highest point in Greece. Enjoy a traditional lunch before heading back to Thessaloniki.

What do I need to bring?
