Stop At: Achilleion
- If you are visiting Corfu and want to experience the stunning sights on offer, but are limited for time, this tour is perfect for you! Explore the beautiful Achilleon Palace located in the village of Gastouri, 10km southwest of Corfu Town. A mansion that was built in 1891 by the emperor of Austria known as Sisi and later owned by Kaiser, Wilhelm II of Germany. You will visit the stately rooms and wander through the lush extensive gardens.
Stop At: Kanoni
- Next stop is Kanoni, where you can visit the famous Mouse Island. This is a small remote island, which can be reached by taking a 5-minute boat ride. This lovely green island got its name due to its tiny size. According to mythology, this rocky island is where the god Poseidon stoned the ship of Ulysses.
Stop At: Corfu Old Town, Corfu Town, Corfu, Ionian Islands
- The last stop is Corfu town, visit the Old Fortress and explore the historical Corfu town. The Venetians originally built the town with narrow streets, the Liston Square is home to the Royal Palace of St George and St Michael built by the first British commissioner. This is a great place to enjoy a coffee or sample the local cuisine and watch the world go by! You can also visit the 300-year old church, St Spyridon the town’s most famous monument. Finally take advantage of the huge range of cosmopolitan shops hosting from souvenirs to designer labels or sample the local cuisine.
