Itinerary
Stop At: Megalochori - Traditional Village, Santorini, Cyclades, South Aegean
- Start with the breath-taking view at the Prophet Elias Monastery and visit the picturesque monastery. Then follows Megalochori village, an extremely charming traditional settlement, almost abandoned after the big earthquake.
Stop At: Akrotiri Archaeological Site, Akrotiri, Santorini, Cyclades, South Aegean
- We visit the Akrotiri excavations, one of the most significant archaeological sites, that was preserved by being buried under the volcano’s lava.
Stop At: Red Beach, Akrotiri, Santorini, Cyclades, South Aegean
- Then you will have free time at the Red Beach for swimming or to simply enjoy the colorful formations of the mountain and/or visit Akrotiri Bay for coffee or lunch with Greek traditional mezedes and ouzo (not included).
Stop At: Perivolos Beach, Perivolos, Santorini, Cyclades, South Aegean
- Perivolos, with its black sandy beach comes next. There you will have enough time to enjoy swimming, explore the area and taste freshly cooked fishes at the local taverns. The last stop will be one of the most popular wineries of Santorini (50 minutes approximately), for a wine tasting experience.
