Although it is a small neighbourhood we found a great seafood restaurant, wonderful old church, cute cafes and delicious bakery’s. In the morning we walked around to find breakfast and got stuck on the delicious bakeries. During the day we took trips way out of Chania (beaches and the gorge) then back in the evening to enjoy old town for dinner and shopping. The old leather tanneries we’re in this part and you can still see machinery display. The streets are windy and easy to walk as long as you avoid cars that fly around corners. The place is very interesting and enjoyable.

Some of the older building have or are being renovated so some of the charm is gone but it is still a nice little area.
