Enter on the west end. Overall more could be done to explain (show) how it looked originally. Some parts had nice descriptions. The forum would be better served by offering 2 entry points. There is a handicapped entrance on the northeast corner which could be easy to make useful for all who enter from that end.

It is breath taking place where you can find a lot of information you don't expect to get, like Romans had a toilets with flushing water in ancient times. Basically you can see the ruins of this kind of toilet. There is also more and more things connected with living in old times, for example water tower.

Great site seeing. Strict rules on taking drinks on to the site. Do not buy sugar drinks at the kiosk before you go in. Only water allowed. They sell water inside the site and there is also a water fountain to fill your own bottle.

A good place to see. But be careful of theft in this area. The guy in the photo here tried to open my backpack but I felt something was going on and so turned back to check my bag and found this guy pretending playing with a scarf on his hands. I believe this guy used the scarf to open my bag. This guy was acting alone and dress like a tourist

You can see most of the Roman forum from outside the fence, so you don't reaaalllly need to pay to get in, although you can if you fancy popping down 6-7 euros per head, but I would recommend saving your dollar and going to the Acropolis instead. Its OK, but nothing spectacular. We also got bombarded by Jamaican men outside trying to sell us bracelets - there's loads of em round Athens and they don't hesitate to hassle and sweet talk you into buying one from them.
