Athens 105 58, Greece
Top attraction of Athens, remnant of temple of goddess Athena situated on hill top. For going up, person need to be reasonably fit as it needs climbing equivalent to 5-6 floor of stairs although it is inclined pathway covered by slippery stones....Must visit
The history is well known and thank God for Goddess Athena. She is inspiring. Again centuries old and we still can see how she was loved. The labor of love of the Greek government and people is apparent.
Architectural marvel of the days they were built in (even now) with a poignant past. Even this legendary culture and architecture has not been spared by the greedy global thieves called England / UK
Definitely the most "must see" of all of Athens attractions. 20-30 euro a person and a little bit of a hike up but the views of both the ancient ruins and the city surrounding are definitely worth it. You haven't seen Athens till you've been here.
Beautifully maintained historical site. So glad I was able to experience. Would recommend going first thing in the morning or at end of day (site closes at 7) to avoid the crowds and heat.
