Wonderful historic building with amazing architecture. The price of €12 entry for 4 places is well advised. The palace has some incredible old and interesting artifacts on the ground floor exhibition. However do not let the high stone staircase put you off going up stairs. The huge rooms with mosaics, furniture , views from high windows are quite remarkable and give you a feel of the size of the building.

Very impressive and well worth a visit. It is within the walled old town of Rhodes, which has to be one of the best examples of Byzantine fortifications you will ever see. If in Rhodes make a point of visiting as there is such a lot of things to do and see within this historic town.

Such an amazing palace with so much history. It has all been very well preserved, even if it is only an Italian rebuild. The architecture is unlike anything I have ever seen. The collection of relics from the region is impressive. Definitely worth a visit, although I would recommend doing a little research so you know what you are looking at. I agree with some of the other reviews that there is not a lot of explanation as you are walking through the palace, however a lot of it speaks for itself.

I had three wonderful days inside the castle. All historical and protected. There are many museums and amazing spots you can feel the atmosphere. The whole old city is surrounded by the walls and it is bigger than the black castle:)

Architecturally wonderful. An impressive feat of engineering. However hardly any information about what any of the rooms are for. Far too much effort to provide information about the murals, many of which are not even from Rhodes and not enough effort to inform about the rest of the palace. The provided leaflet is next to useless for information about the palace. That said 6€ not a bad entrance fee.
