Stadiou 13, Athina 105 61, Greece
Impressive neoclassical building used as Parliament a few decades ago. Nowadays it houses a museum about the independence of Greece. You need about one hour to explore it. On Sunday the entrance is free. The first Sunday of every month there is tour guide free of charge on 12.00. It deserves a visit.
There could be more items and stories for a country's history for such a museum. Still it is a good historic venue to learn about Greece's Independence War and struggles through centuries. Free on Sundays but keep in mind that it closes at 2.30 pm on free days. Check the website before going.
It is amazing in architecture and neoclassical decoration. Also, means a lot to the Greek nation. A must.
