Theotokopoulou 57, Chania 731 31, Greece
Absolutely beautiful and worth the stroll. A lot of small art studios, restaurants, craftmans- and gift shops mixed with residential houses. Narrow streets, occasionally steep and uneven makes the atmosphere all the better. You can literally breathe the history here.
Chania is very charming. Full of life and great restaurants. Despite the old belief that one cannot get good food in a touristy spot, old town Chania harbour/waterfront area will prove it different. Just choose any one of the waterfront restaurants (with a brief Google Maps cross-reference for reviews) and you’d be just fine.
wonderful scenery, beautiful small streets full of life, lively and amazingly beautiful port
Wonderful town with dozens of of narrow streets, fab shops and marvelous restaurants. All formed around a lively bustling harbour.
Lovely place. Nice walk along the harbour wall to the light house. One of our group got some nice footage of a turtle swimming around. Lots of tavernas and restaurants. If you walk slightly away from the harbour there is a nice place to swim, but rocky so be extra careful. Sea was lovely and warm with some gentle waves. Would definitely visit again
