Unarguably the most spectacular open-air theatre in Greece. Provides a magical setting at the base of the Acropolis with an amazing view. It has hosted legendary performances and still going. Also note that ll theatre performances will be accompanied by subtitles in English unless otherwise specified..

Amazing live performance, with a combination of classic rock and symphony orchestra. The sound and visuals were great, and the Odeon provided an absolutely spectacular and unique setting for such a performance. Highly recommended to add this to your list of activities if you're visiting Athens.

What an incredible experience. Watching a show in this theatre (over 2.000 years old) is a privilege. Very well managed, with plenty of attendants to secure both safety and comfort, the theatre prides itself on adhering to its published time schedules and refusing admittance after the show has started. Everybody should go at least once during their lifetime.

Very nice historical place, also working as a concert hall. I was on a concert - music and organization was really great. It was really interesting to hear how sound was different from other typical modern concert halls - all due to constraction.

Being in the heart of ancient culture is very inspiring. The acoustics are fantastic. Only suggestion would be to bring a collapsible chair that fits on your seat (like one for stadium bleachers). If you sit for a long show it becomes quite uncomfortable.
