Great place to visit if your able to do the 6km total walk. Otherwise 5star . If your going to attempt this walk make sure you wear suitable footwear, take lots of drink, and try to do it in the morning before the hear of the day as there are very little rest stops or shade re-route

Really spectacular view. God's shoes are recommended for the trip. The small cave at the end is a secret tip (if you have a flashlight with you)

This place is for the real traveller, the one that does not mind walking several km, taking in all the breathtaking surroundings and finally will be rewarded with this very special Monument, the Katholiko Monastery considered to be the oldest Monastery of Crete dating back to the 7th century. Wear good footwear for this walk/hike since some places its quite slippery. Further down, passing the amazing bridge, a path will guide you the see with some more surprises... Please keep this places clean, do not litter and don't leave anything behind, thank you

The Monastery Katholiko is absolutely amazing. It takes about 40 minutes to walk down from the parking lot and for some might be quite difficult. But the views you’re about to see reward all the sweat! A must see for everyone who likes to hike and has a car.
