An iconic Cathedral, probably the biggest in Athens, where the Archbishop resides. It has a big complex where you can enjoy the views of the cathedral as well as the busy street.

A beautiful interior with mosaics showing the saints and Jesus. This is small and intimate, and there is a feeling of God's presence. Take some time to pray, light a candle and look at the icons. If you go when there is a service you can sit at the back and hear the priest reciting the prayers. Try to visit the old tiny chapel at the side, but it is often closed, so check the times.

Located in the heart of Athens, this big and beautiful Orthodox church familiarly called the Metropolis is a spiritual oasis in the middle of the shops, taverns and institutions. It is dedicated to the Annunciation, it is less than 200 years old and built of marble taken from over 70 demolished churches. It took 2 decades to complete it. Nice colors inside!
