Within the Messinia area, most restaurants are traditional Greek taverns. Nothing wrong with that, quite the opposite in fact, but sometimes it is nice to have something out of the ordinary. La Cucina provides a good choice of excellent Italian dishes (inclusive pizza's, but you can have those at many other places). The dishes are very tasteful. Yes, it is a bit more expensive then the usual Greek meals, but the quality is great. Absolutely worth a visit.

Great location, excellent service and very decent Italian food. Lots of choices for pasta and pizza. Portions were generous. Atmosphere and the restaurant design were really nice. Pricing wise, food was on the upper scale but there was a great deal of house wines to choose from at very affordable prices.

In the evening a reservation is necessary, as the restaurant is very popular. The recommendations of the kitchen are always excellent, as are the other dishes and wines. The staff is attentive and friendly. We always like to enjoy a nice evening here.

NICE PLACE, AMAZING PASTA. PLACE WAS CLEAN. YOU NEED A RESERVATION TO GET A SEAT, OTHERWISE ITS DIFFICULT. OPEN FROM 1500 TILL LATE. TRIED AMATRICIANA PASTA. AMAZING. IF YOU CHOOSE TO SHARE A PLATE, THEY SPLIT IT IN 2 PLATES! HOWEVER QUANTITY IS FINE !
