The monastery on the beginning of the hiking route is small, but rather beautiful in conjunction with the surrounding garden. The highlight is definitely the hike down the valley, all the way to the sea. Every part of the hike is breathtaking (should the steep terrain not have done that already) and around an hour down, bit more back up. Bring good shoes and plenty of water and you'll be in for a tiring but absolutely worthwhile hike.
Amazing hike, but do not underestimate the heat and sunshine! Hiking boots and stamina recommend. Hike possible even though monastery is closed.
Beautiful monastery being restored. The hike to the caves is well worth the effort and the views are beautiful.
The nature and the sightseeing was wonderful the path was narrow and a bit steep in sertent parts of it but as an overall experience was 5/5
Beautiful and tranquil place. Walk down to moni Katholiko is highly recommended
