Do not miss this one in a lifetime opportunity. Amazing theater with great acoustics. Almost all the plays have over-titles. Go early, as been late here will not be appropriate. If you can, bring a small pillow to sit on as the seats can be uncomfortable.

The Greeks built something special here. If you have the opportunity to see it do not pass it up. 2400 years it has stood with perfect acoustics - simply amazing

Totally worth a visit. The acoustics is impressive. The ancient city nearby the theatre was a nice surprise, really interesting.

This is a wonderful historical site, one of its highlights is a 12,000 person capacity theater that is in fantastic shape. Sprawled across this enormous site are many temples to the various gods and healing centers. If you are interested in archealogical sites, you cannot miss this one. About an hour and a half outside athens. (By car)

For me... The best theatre in the world! A lifetime experience... Go early, to find your seat and to enjoy the last minutes of the daylight, just before the actors' arrival on the stage. Magnificent!
