Asos 280 84, Greece
This is a very small beach in Assos, but very lovely if you are nearby and need to cool down a little. Of course if you are not in Assos there is no need to visit this beach as it is very small and mediocre compared to others in Kefalonia.
Picture perfect is the only way to describe this part of Kefalonia. Not as damaged as other parts of the island during the massive earthquakes in 1953 you can still catch a glimpse of the grandeur of this area in its buildings and roads A small and quaint part of the island it’s probably the must beautiful as tourists clammed to enjoy local cuisine and a swim in the fresh waters of the beach Get there early and take swimming shoes because the beach is pebbly with sand once in the water. The water is fresh and very clean. If you can score some nights there would suggest 2-3 as plenty. It gets very busy during the summer months so be prepared to battle the crowds but soooo worth it!!
Picturesque village in a great location in north Kefalonia. Hard to park when busy. Small harbour with pebble beaches where you can swim and a few tavernas at the water's edge.
Good beach, nice place , castle on the top ,around nice restaurants . BUT - €10 for place on the beach it’s expensive cost , there is no shower after the beach .
Take your swimming shoes. Glorious place with a good ambiance. Lots of places to have a bite to eat. Loved spending there a beautiful afternoon.
