Areopagus, Athens 105 55, Greece
Great view of the Acropolis... just follow the group of people climbing up the stairs to locate this lookout point :p
this place is nice because you have a nice view on the Acropolis and the Agora. If you want to live what the apostle Paul lived here 2000 years ago, read Acts chapter 17 when you are there
Great views in the daytime. At night the views and atmosphere with everyone relaxing and hanging out was the best part of our entire Athens trip. Be very careful on the rocks though, they are extremely worn down from the amount of human contact over the years and I saw multiple people, including myself slip and slide on them. The view of the Acropolis and the city are some of the best I saw from anywhere in the city. Also, the spot where the apostle Paul made a sermon that is recorded in the Bible (Acts 17:16-34) is clearly marked by a cross, which was pretty inspiring whether you are religious or not.
Better than acropolis! Great panoramic view of the city, and a nice angle of the acropolis from down low. Be careful the rocks are very slippery and it can get crowded during sunset. There is an amazing sunset and also sunrise from this spot, good place to chill out with friends.
Nice view of a Athens. Where is also the entrance of Acropolis, the biggest historical place in Athens. It is nice place to stop, before enter the Acropolis and take a picture of Athens and some selfie😇 and it is free 😂😂
