Zur Historischen Mühle 1, 14469 Potsdam, Germany
massive arena of flex. Every Monarch just put a massiv flex there
This is a really impressive and additionally very historical place. It's a "must visit" location for visitors from foreign countries for understanding the former emperor lifestyle in Germany / Europe. The large park served from 1747 to 1918 ( 171 years long!) as the summer residence of the Prussian kings and German emperors. Sanssouci is above all the park with the unique terrace complex and the magnificent fountain in the center, world-famous and included in the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1990. For more than 250 years, the highest garden art has been combined here with the works of the most capable architects and sculptors of their time.
A beautiful and big garden dotted with lots of palaces, tea house, mill... It is exquisitely arranged and a real pleasure to spend a few hours walking through "Old Fritz" summer retreat. The entrance is free, you'll only have to pay if you want to visit one of the building but don't forget to book on advance.
This place is a must see area if you are visiting Potsdam with its many palaces you will spend a whole day or two exploring the vast expanse of the park. The museums are beautiful showcasing the old palace rooms and art. Definitely worth the visit
The German version of Versailles. Tie your shoes and get ready to discover palaces and mansions, each one with its own style and inspired to a foreign culture. Also the park itself deserves a special mention, it is huge and peaceful. Amazing!
