A lot of stuff that you usually don't see
A real gem of Berlin culture, lots of different vendors of all sorts of things. Some of them selling specific things, others basically anything they can find and selling it and some simply selling unique antiques. My particular highlight was the lighting stand, the stall was well dressed up and the lighting choices were great.
Great place for lovely shopping 🙂 Rather cheap nor expensive for me 😉
Mosty furniture but also bicycles and machinery. Plenty of light fixtures. I was looking for photographica but there was nothing interesting.
3 stars for the surreal experience, the place is like a museum/maze and it's interesting to have a look but there's not much worth buying. So -2 stars because we went there with cash and the mood to buy stuff and left with just a book. 90% of everything here is super overpriced garbage. No surprise tho, Berliners seem to often confuse rotten old trash with luxurious vintage collectibles. I indeed felt nostalgic seeing some of the things but that didn't sell me on anything. Example: Super old closet with doors and shelves missing, too big and heavy to dismantle and transport, more decor than storage space, smells like mold, but still costs triple what a brand new, functional Ikea closet costs. I know that one man's trash is another's treasure, but sometimes trash is just trash. My advice, if you wanna make some money before everything rots and rusts away, set the price to 10 euros/object whatever it may be. A nice place to get vintage bikes tho, my suggestion: keep the prices lower than decathlon to be reasonable.
