So I had two different experiences there. First one I went for dinner. We sat inside, the service was super fast. The food was super delicious and worth the price. 5 stars. Second time I went there in the afternoon. Sat outside. We wanted to get an Ice coffee, so asked the waiter if they had it. He said yes and we sat down. Were waiting for a long time. Asked another waitress who was passing by if we would be able to get an Ice coffee here. She said they don't have it on the menu, but they can arrange. When we could finally order, with a third waitress, she was super surprised and said no, they do not serve Ice cream at all and that she could only give a coffee with ice cubes in it... So fine, if they don't serve it, but then maybe give us the full information the first two times we ask. 2 stars (as the place is still beautiful).

We stayed in beautiful outdoor garden, with roses all around us in bloom, in various colours. Staff are professional and restaurant is very well run by the management. You can feel the tradition of the place, in the best meaning of this word! Food is delicious - classic German dishes. Definitely worth a visit - make sure to book well in advance!

I fell in love with this place. Good austrian food and the atmosphere in outdoors is just awesome. For a place so central in the city just nice. Also the whole area is nice. The menu is short. So easy for people who have a hard time to pick a dish.

Cool, but not for vegans :( Such a sweet atmosphere and charming service. Unfortunately only one vegan option on the menu. No starters, no dessert... Just one main dish (which was good though and they are totally open to try and create a vegan option for you but it won't be a properly composed dish). I was a bit disappointed and won't come back. For all others: highly recommended!

The over 100 years old "institution" survived WW2 and the GDR. A new owner took over and renovated only the necessary to preserve the special charm of the walls, the ballrooms and the yards. The dishes have been revisited and come in a more modern design, but still in quality. As this place is a crowd puller, be prepared to reserve and to wait a bit longer for service.
