What a Stunning view! Fairy large breakfast menu, with a lot of variations. Coffee was ok, but they had selection of different milk options. Cake wasn’t great either. I would come back for breakfast for sure and make reservation as it gets busy

Nice place, you have a great view on the Marienplatz. There is a restaurant area and a terrace where you can have drinks. I was in the restaurant - the food is good, the service kind. A bit expensive though.

The food is good, more on the menu than the regular Bavarian offerings. But the service is subpar. You wait a very long time for waiter to take order. Waiter was mad we did not tip him, which we would have done if the service had been better. He assumed we were unfamiliar with tipping in Europe and thought it his duty to fill us in. We tip good service, period.

Unfriendliest and most arrogant guy at the reception desk ever! We wanted to have a big dinner, we were very hungry and this guy was very arrogant and just not welcoming. We went elsewhere and paid a 200€ bill, including appetizers, wine, main dish and desserts, it was fine with us. But it’s too bad for the owner of this restaurant. People, go spend your money elsewhere!

Great location, good food, a true Munich icon. Enjoy your time there, including people-watching. One star removed because while staff is very efficient and fast, they don’t seem to be able to put a smile on their face.
