Reinhardtstraße 20, 10117 Berlin, Germany
This is an old bunker, than turned into a night club and finally into a modern art museum. You can only visit if you book the tour in advance. Really loved it, I understand why you need someone to present the art. Also, moving between the spaces by yourself can be tricky.
Amazing building by architectural design and great exposition of contemporary art. It worth of waiting for few months reservation. The excursion was full of interesting information about building, owners and artists, whose art pieces carefully gathered together in this space. One of wonderful things in building is special structure of stairs.
The exhibition was nice, but I didn't get quite much from what the tour guide was saying. It felt like there was no link to what she said and the exhibition. But nevertheless, it was interesting.
Bunker WW2
A bunker turned into an art gallery… is there something more Berlin than this? The art it houses is basically whatever the Boros family like, so don’t go expecting to find an exhibit that makes sense. You cannot go by yourself, a guide must always go with you, this is cool because at every room there’s a small explanation and that way it’s easier to understand and appreciate the art piece. There are English and German tours, make sure to chose the right language while Booking, also, book in advance, if you just walk-in you probably won’t be able to visit the place. Online booking is easy, but you must pay in advance.
