It's really nice, a little bit different than other monasteries (which is welcomed :P). There's a museum inside (with entrance fee) from where you can climb on high tower for nice view. But be aware that they are restoring it now, so you won't have such nice photos if you are only going for them :).

Beautiful structure, perched high up on a hill with majestic views of the lush countryside and imposing Caucasus Mountains in the distance. One of the better sites in lovely Kakheti.

One of the interesting place in Kakheti. Made of bricks while most of the historical buildings are made of stones (sometimes mixed with bricks). Don't forget to climb on the top of the tower, the view deserves it.

Lovely little church in Kakheti region. Lots of history. You get to visit an old museum and also try wines from a very very old cellar. Stay for sunset as it’s when Gremi looks the most beautiful
