Pretty quiet spot next to the cathedral. Friendly service, despite my rudimentary French. I had the Supreme de volaille, pictured below, which turned out to be a chicken dish with a mushroomy gravy, side of mashed potatoes and roasted turnips and carrots, which was tasty and went well with a glass of Rosé de Loire. Altogether, lunch for two with a bottle of Perrier and glass of wine was less than €40, not bad imo

We really enjoyed our meal here. Fabulous food in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere situated in the shadows of Angers beautiful cathedral. Would highly recommend. We certainly will eat here again next time we visit.

Since two months in Paris, I didn’t have any restaurants which make me pleased (but just relatively pricy).. and finally here I got a good Salade Landaise at terrasse at the last minute of lunchtime :)) the fresh touch and good mixture of gizzard, magret fumé, foie gras de canard with salade😋
