75001 Paris, France
The city of love with so many romantic bridges to stroll through. Enjoy your walks on these bridges in the evening with the gentle breeze and the love in the air! Also, you can find a nice Indian restaurant at the next street and enjoy a sumptuously meal.
Gives a great and beautiful view of Paris, like numerous other bridges in Paris. Very nice to chill there on a beautiful day out and just enjoy the weather and the city for a few minutes 😊
This is a very romantic place with great river views. Perfect for a visit at sunset. There are some great shops and eateries just across the bridge as you walk from the centre of Paris. Some real hidden gems - for tourists at least.
As the oldest standing bridge on the river Seine, Pont Neuf is very well preserved and absolutely beautiful. With two sections connecting with the central island, the bridge is a historical architecture monument. I am uploading one photos which had been taken when I visited Paris.
Pont Neuf is not just a nice bridge. It is rich with history, as it was the very first bridge in Paris to be built during Napoleon's 'beautifying' of Paris. It didn't have any wood in it, making it safer and resistant to fires. At one point ladies would put on their best dresses just to go walk on the best bridge in the city. It was THE place to be seen at the time. Beautiful bridge. Very interesting story behind it. Go visit. Preferably with a guided tour. You won't regret it.
