You can get all the info you need from the guidebooks, but don't miss this. At least in certain weeks, they have "same day" tickets available on Wednesdays for only 10 Euro, in seats with poor views of the stage. By getting these cheap same-day tickets we were able to roam around this incredible building before the show, and then watch (poor view and all!) and listen to a wonderful opera for a price cheaper than just a tour! Fantastic site!

Historical & a classy experience of Opera! Very nice theatre, rich ambiance at in side & outside. The whole location is historical & famous from French glorious tradition. The ambiance of theatre's entrance at evening gets charming with couple dance with opera music..

Beautiful. Quick and easy entry. The best cocktail bar seems to be at the top floor. If you're an opera enthusiast (I am not), a definite must on your trip to paris. Its easier to purchase tickets at the box office and they often have reasonable tickets like 20 euros for the top tier.
