We had an excellent lunch today at Grand Bar Des Goudes. Their bourride was outstanding- very fresh and flavorful white fish. The servings were perfectly sized and served at exactly the right temperature. Understandably this restaurant is also known for their bouillabaisse and other fish dishes. Our server was excellent. It was excellent value for money-140 euros for three people—main course, two desserts and a bottle of wine. Reservations are a must. If possible, request a window table because the view is spectacular. We will definitely return.
The restaurant staff were just lovely and pleasing. The food was absolutely wonderful, from preparation to presentation, relaxed and cool ambiance with attentive servers. I hope to be back for a visit in the future.
very relaxed in a good way -the staff certainly aren’t relaxed. The quality of the food is very good and there’s lots of it, all super fresh and good quality. Some of us had the Bouillabaisse and it was at the top end of real Bouillabaisse. The Michelin restaurants ‘improve’ and refine it, which they do very well, of course, but it’s not fisherman style. This is top fisherman style!
Amazing food, great atmosphere... very friendly staff. Super recommend. The desert is big so I would suggest sharing between 2-3.
Real southern French food. Very fresh ingredients.
Sharing is caring!
