Best. Cheeseburger. Ever. This was LITERALLY one of the highlights of my trip. The place by itself is cute, small, economic. I can't wait to come back for this ambrosia like cheeseburgers.
You're in the mood for fun here. Popular with twenty somethings at the crowd from Generator hostel next door. The food is up to par with most mid range bistros. Really went out of their way to provide great service, this, five stars. Show up for an early dinner, then stick around for salsa dancing or other shenanigans.
I waited for 10 mins to get a menu, yet they didn't, so I had to get my own from someone's table. Late comers were served water yet I had to asked my own. Moreover, I ordered Frog legs as entree and beef tartare, they took almost 30 mins but others who came in late got already served. Watch out there
Unfortunately I was helped by what seemed to be the restaurant owner, who pretended to not understand any English, and refused to try understand any of my attempts to simply pay my bill. This restaurant is directly next to a massive hostel and part of the menu is in English - I guarantee I was not the first English speaking customer to try eat there! I’m sure this is a nice place if you speak fluent French - otherwise don’t bother, he obviously doesn’t want foreigners eating there.
