Beautiful gardens, as well as the famous water features. The house has some lovely old photos and the rooms are well presented. You could spend a long time here on a pleasant day just looking at the reflections in the water. If travelling from Paris by train, I'd recommend getting the "little train" from outside Vernon-Giverny Station, which will shuttle you to the house itself (there is also a standard shuttle bus). If you have the time to walk back, and it's a nice day, you can stroll through Giverny village itself and then along a well made foot / cycle path back to Vernon (allow a little over an hour to do this).

A must see for anyone who loves gardening, flowers, or art. The property is small and very easy to nativigate, though the gardens have a small set of stairs to an underroad passage and the stairs in the house are unusual and narrow. The gardens are immaculately kept with flowers changing regularly throughout the season. The colors are so vivid and there were some very unique flowers that I never saw before! The house's unique color block design was really eye catching and made me feel as if Monet was still alive. I suggest visiting the small Cafe on the property for delicious, homemade desserts that are a perfect way to end an exciting day!

Peaceful and calm, beautiful gardens. Small museum in the village is an add on. Good transport options from Vernon-Giverny.

It was even lovelier than we could imagine! The gardens through the lily pads were so refreshing. We wanted to sit & soak in the beauty all afternoon...alas we couldn't.

Nice day out not far from Paris. Perfect for those who like art and art history. Was a bit crowded when I went in June though, so maybe check best time to go before hand. A couple of other galleries around and cute little village, so perfect for those who like little walks in the country side.
