Nice little restaurant with lovely outside seating in a great spot of the old town. We went there for the seafood platter and it didn’t disappoint. Everything was really fresh but i have to admit the crab was our highlight. Usually in Fruit de Mere you get a crab but kind of dressed and not always whole. This was whole and left down to us to explore it, which is the way we like it!
Outstanding place! Really impressive form of served food, which is fresh and tasty. Service was really good and polite, very helpful. What is most important the food was great, fresh sea food was delicious! I really enjoyed having the supper there. Maybe it's not an exclusive restaurant, tables are located on the narrow street, among sqooters and pedestrians, however it has a soul, it's very climatic place. I strongly recommend to visit this spot, it's worth giving a try!
Enjoyed a share seafood platter for three in June 2019, and it was great. The prawns, oysters*, crab, whelks, clams, mussels etc were first class, very fresh and tasty. Was almost 5 stars, though we had one bad oyster. Having missed lunch we were hungry, so followed up the seafood with a baked Camembert and assorted meats plate which was very good too. Recommended and would return!
Lovely staff. Good food. Great outing to try some sea food - love the whelks. But good cheese and charcuterie.
This little hidden gem of a restaurant only serves fresh seafood and cheese/charcuterie boards. We started with a huge tray for two of oysters, mussels, and shrimps with a bottle of a Provence white. Fantastic! Then we had a board of cheeses in a way of dessert with some local red. Equally fantastic. The stuff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
