🫖 Food was ok but I don't think we came at an optimal time. I had the chocolate cake and it was a bit dry but it was also past 11pm. Someone had a crepe and it was good. Juice is not freshly pressed (served in small glass bottles). 🧑🏻‍🍳 Staff was nice but very busy so it took a while to get their attention. 📖 Menu has plenty of choices. 🪑 We came after a show around 11pm and it was quite busy since it's one of the only spots open at that time. Inside the light is very dim and decor is a bit underwhelming. 💰 On the expensive side. We paid 60€ for tea, two juices, a crepe and two slices of cake... I want to give this place another try but during daylight, for breakfast/brunch. I would try somewhere else for an evening snack though.

Carette is hard to beat with pastries! Amazing pastry chef! The flow is not well-organized so waiters are constantly pumping into customers in line to pay because the "caisse" is right next to the kitchen for some reason. The food is good and there is a unique buzzing atmosphere that I really like.

One of the best places for breakfast in Paris.. It's a little crowded, but it's worth the wait.. The service was good.. The best hot chocolate I've tried and the atmosphere in general is great 😍

This is where I tasted my first hot chocolate and coffee and croissant here in Paris. Glad it was here in one of the famous cafe in France established in 1927. Expect a bit of cost since it's in the heart of Paris. Just a short walk away and you'd get a great view of the beauty of Eiffel tower.

If you have never tried great French croissants and macaroons, this place will be an alright choice for you. Yet I would not recommend it if you like to have a real taste of French cuisine. Butter croissant was lacking texture and taste and macaroons were hard like cookies.
