Lapland Family Snowmobile Safari From Rovaniemi
This safari is the perfect option for families with small children. You will enjoy the beautiful wintry scenery and will make several stops to admire nature on the way. 2 adults will ride on one snowmobile, single riding supplement for extra charge.
What to expect?
When you arrive at the snowmobile center, listen to a safety briefing and
instructions on driving your 2-seater snowmobile. Then, pull on your supplied
helmet and set off in a convoy led by a guide.
Drive with snowmobiles around the beautiful surroundings of Rovaniemi. Your
children will sit on a sledge pulled by the guide, covered with reindeer skins
and warm blankets.
After adult-snowmobiling, it's time for children to drive their own mini-
skidoo. Stop at the special area, which is safe for children to ride. Self
ride is suitable for children up to 11-12 years, but smaller kids will be
helped by their parent or guide.
At the same time, the guide will light up a bonfire, and it's time to enjoy a
picnic where everyone can grill traditional Finnish sausages, and sip on
Lappish berry juice to keep yourself warm.
At the end of the day, you'll return to the safari starting point and then get
dropped back off at your hotel.
