Elizabeth:Our favorite weekend coffee spot! Come in to grab a cup of joe, breakfast from the Bakery, and shop in the Marketplace for local Camano goods and gifts!

Elizabeth:Cozy, delicious food, full bar, great service - one of our favorite's for date night! Downtown Stanwood also offers coffee shops, boutique shopping, and bars!

Elizabeth:Built in a historic Stanwood fire station, the SAAL Brewing Co. is a laid back, relaxed brewery with great pours and outdoor (dog-friendly) patio. Covered/heated in the winter months

Elizabeth:One of the best places to shop for souvenirs, gifts, or home goods on the island! Grab a coffee or bakery goods while you're there - so good! Outdoor dog-friendly seating options as well.

Elizabeth:Our closest grocery store for anything you need during your stay! (P.S. their brisket is on par with Texas BBQ... that's coming from a Texan, y'all!)

Elizabeth:Vacation can be a wonderful time to capture family or special-event photos! Lily is WONDERFUL! She is so passionate, talented, and creates such a fun experience with so many beautiful pictures to choose from! She travels to Camano often and knows so many great locations :)

Elizabeth:Going to be out for the day and need a place for your pet? CCR has great doggie daycare options - we board our own dogs here and they love the HUGE yard!

Elizabeth:Washington State's most iconic and popular state park! Walk across the Deception Pass bridge, take a hike, or get to the beach! Perfect day trip from Camano! Consider a $30 annual Discover Pass for a year's worth of WA Parks access! https://www.discoverpass.wa.gov/

Elizabeth:Epic, breathtaking views of the Deception Pass Bridge! Drive across, take a walk across, or hike into the state park for views from below! The perfect place to catch the sun set over the turbulent waters (this passage is notorious to boaters for it's fast, tricky and dangerous currents!)

Elizabeth:This quiet, rural town settled in the rugged mountain valley offers mountain hiking trails, horseback riding, whitewater rafting/kayaking, mountain biking, shopping, and even seasonal festivals/events! Start here for the Mountain Loop Highway for a long day-trip drive!

Elizabeth:One of the most scenic 50-plus mile “loop” around the Western Cascades perfect for a long day-trip drive with the windows or top down! Approximately 4 hour total drive from our house. Easily access miles of varied-difficulty hiking trails, river access, and beautiful scenery (especially the fall colors)! Of mention: after Barlow Pass, the two-lane road ends and 14 miles of gravel begins (it's drivable, take your time, err on the side of caution) and check snow/ice and road conditions beforehand.
