Denicia:A nice spot to go shopping and get ice cream. There is also a farmers' market here on Tuesdays and Saturdays that is fun to walk through

Denicia:Great beer here for everyone. Perfect for date night or group outings. A ton of outdoor space with good heaters. TRY THE SMOOTHIE SOUR, any flavor they have. You won't regret it.

Denicia:Great pastries and coffee. Loads of coffee choices and a ton of space so you won't have to feel guilty if you end up here for hours. The ginger molasses cookie is the best, plus they sell pasta to make at home that I hear is great too.

Denicia:Really close to campus and has great coffee. Loads of room to sit forever if you want. There is also an option to rent out space upstairs if you want to co-working space or change of scenery.

Denicia:Knight Campus is on-campus and is connected to LISB (the building our lab is in), but people ignore it completely. It's beautiful inside and out perfect for when you need a change in scenery. There is also a Starbucks/the closest coffee shop inside.

Denicia:Get brunch here. All of it is good. I've taken everyone that has come to visit me here and they all loved it. Try the Eggs Benedict and a Bloody Maria

Denicia:Frisbee golf or disc golf is pretty popular here in the summer and a great way to meet new people!

Denicia: We all know how hard it is to make friends as an adult, but a friend once told me the best way to meet people is to have a dog and take them to the dog park. I have an entire friend group that met each other at the dog park so I can attest to this.
