Delicious and clean traditional Egyptian food. Great place for a vegan to feast. Cheap without affecting the quality of the food. Only downside is the tight space which some might like as it feels casual and homey.
I liked it. The food was delicious and the service was fast. I don't know why, but they only have a small sitting area that makes it hard to have personal space.
Nice, inexpensive traditional food. Cute little location on a very busy street. The service was fast and cheerful.
Good choice of simple but delicious local food; vegan, vegetarian and gluten-free options; central location, more locals than tourists + a bit loud - at least at lunchtime. English menu explaining the dishes, some of the staff speak English, fairly priced, credit card accepted, clean washroom, traffic noise from the street, some waiting time to be expected (waited 15 min at peek lunchtime)
Great service, accommodating of dietary restrictions This is just a small place, using locally sourced ingredients with a small creative menu. Can not sit a large crowd. The wait staff were kind and used translate to communicate when English didn't help. English menu. As newly arrived visitors, we are checking out the local faire, especially organic ones. For a one time visit this restaurant is ok, but I wouldn't frequent it on a regular basis unless they change the menu often. The only other difficulty we had was with finding the place. There was no sign on the door that would've captured our attention and we walked past it a number of times before noticing the placards in their window.
