What to expect?
**DAY 1 (L):
** BALTRA – FLAMINGO LAGOON
At Baltra airport, an English speaking guide will pick you up to go to the
port of Puerto Ayora (about 1 hour) where you can enjoy your lunch. Around
02:00 PM, you’ll take the small public speedboat to Isabela Island (about 2,5
hours). Upon arrival on Isabela Island, you’ll visit the Flamingo Lagoon.
After that, your driver will drop you off at your hotel.

**DAY 2 (B, L):
** SIERRA NEGRA ACTIVE VOLCANO TREK – CONCHA PERLA SNORKEL
Early in the morning, after breakfast, you’ll take an excursion to the Sierra
Negra Volcano. The Sierra Negra Volcano is located 13 miles from Puerto
Villamil and has the second largest volcanic crater in the world, with 6 miles
wide and 300 feet deep. Here you can feel the warm earth as evidence that the
volcano is active. You can take your lunch at the volcano and then you return
to the hotel. You’ll have the chance to go snorkeling or swimming at Concha
Perla where you can observe the colorful fishes, sea urchins, starfishes, sea
lions, or even sea turtles.

DAY 3 (B, L):
BREEDING CENTER – WALL OF TEARS – FLAMINGO LAGOON – ISLET TINTORERAS
Taking the bike to visit the breeding center of giant tortoises and the Wall
of Tears. From 1946 to 1959 Isabela was designated a penal colony by the
Ecuadorian government. The prisoners were forced to build this wall with huge
lava rocks. After this you return to the hotel for lunch. In the afternoon you
will sail to “Islet Tintoreras”. You can also observe penguins, sea lions,
marine iguanas and you can go snorkeling with sharks and multicolored fish.

DAY 4 (B, L):
KAYAK IN PUERTO VILLAMIL – ISABELA ISLAND HIGHLANDS
Today you will head to the bay of Puerto Vallamil together with the guide.
Here you will go kayaking to visit the coastal zone and you will have the
opportunity to observe and photograph Marine Iguanas, Sea Lions and Penguins.
In the afternoon, you will get to bike again and go to the top of the island
to visit “Cave Sucre”, the Mango viewpoint, and Hard Campo.

**DAY 5 (B): **
SANTA CRUZ – TWINS – BALTRA
Early in the morning you leave the hotel and start your trip to Baltra Island.
