García Moreno N10-43, Quito 170401, Ecuador
very impressive church, even for european standard. it is possible to have a free guide. Our guide was a student who speaks 4 languaves and the explanation he gave us was very interesting. nice visit!!!
Beautiful church with amazing architecture and craftsmanship. Definitely worth seeing if you’re already in the area.
Fine looking church particularly inside. Entry is free but you cannot take photos. Almost everything is covered in gold which could probably be put to better use by helping the many homeless people in the city. Avoid coming here on Sundays during mass as there may be security to stop tourists interrupting the religious ceremony.
A beautiful church, free to enter however passing through the doors instills a no-photos rule. If you would like to get a very lengthy history of the church, there certainly is one; ranging from the ceiling to the floor theres a story in every corner of the church. There is also a bathroom hidden way in the back which is free just remember to bring toilet paper with you.
Very nice church worth the entrance fee a must see in Quito
